The Wandsworth Liberal Democrats are proud to present the following candidates:
Our Southfields candidates: Sue Wixley, Duncan Lyons and Pat Durai-Bates
Pat Durai-Bates works in procurement in the private sector and lives in Southfields. The EU referendum result, combined with the arrival of her first child, prompted Pat to get involved in local politics. An avid cyclist, she is campaigning for better services for children and young people and improved cycling facilities.
Duncan Lyons is a chartered account who has lived in Southfields for almost 30 years. He is married and has 2 grown-up children. Duncan has become actively engaged in local issues, and is campaigning for more affordable housing and better local policing. He is a supporter of AFC Wimbledon. @DuncanLyons
Sue Wixley is a director at a national charity and has served as a trustee on 3 charity boards. Like many Southfielders, Sue is originally from South Africa. She has lived on 'The Grid' with her husband since 2009 and wants the Council to improve social services for older people and vulnerable groups. @LibDemSue
