Better street lighting for Nine Elms

21 of 250 signatures

Nine Elms is a great place to live, but poor street lighting has left many of you feeling unsafe and worried about your personal safety. Speaking to local residents, many avoid travelling or jogging alone late at night.

Better lighting is a simple fix. But the Conservatives - who have run the Council for decades - have failed to take action.

The Liberal Democrats are working hard to get better lighting across Nine Elms, including in these areas:

  • Riverside Walk on the approach to Vauxhall
  • Prince of Wales Drive underpass towards Battersea Park
  • along the railway track.

We will campaign to put this right.

As your candidates for Nine Elms, Mark Gitsham and Sue Wixley have listened and taken your concerns to heart.

Help us take this message to the council. Please sign! We will include your name and, address when submitting the petition to Wandsworth Council.
